The aim of our group is to support children of all ages with Down's Syndrome and their families within the Bury area, including Ramsbottom, Tottington, Prestwich, Whitefield and Radcliffe.
About us
The group was set up by parents of children with Down's Syndrome and is affiliated with the Down's Syndrome Association.
Group meetings
The group meets the last Tuesday of each month 1pm - 3pm, offering a chance for parents or carers of children with Down's Syndrome to come for a chat, exchange experiences or gather information. Children and their siblings are more than welcome and it also gives them a chance to play together and get to know each other in a safe environment. Special Support Assistants and other professionals that support children with Down's Syndrome are also most welcome. Each month we invite a different health professional to talk about a particular topic relating to Down's Syndrome. Please check the Events/Meetings page for more details.
